Why should not bear false witness against another?
Because it developed an insincere attitude.
Treachery is the highest sin before God.
To lie about someone for personal gain or retaliation is to perjure one's soul.
If everyone were insincere with everyone else,
what pandemonium there would be.
Suppose you tell someone that you are going to meditate, but instead of your intention is to slip of to do some wrong against him.
That treachery, insincerity in its worst form.
Also, to bear falls witness against some another.
In support of wrongdoer.
Is to participate in his wrong conduct.
It will cause emotional and mental conflict within. Even if temporary rationalized.
It will eventually boomerang and create distress in the consiousness.
